There will come a time when the bottle caps for your reusable 5 gallon water bottle will need to be replaced. The caps can be extremely difficult to find locally at retail stores, as you have probably already found.
I use the inexpensive $.99 caps from Amazon, and they work well. All of the standard size caps from 38 mm to 210 mm are available.
You may also opt for the dew caps, which fit both the three and 5 gallon snap top water bottles. They fit both plastic and glass water bottles and have a release tab for easy removal.
