In my opinion, sushi is one of the healthiest and yummiest foods on the planet, and is therefore one of the staples of my diet.
The avocado is a key ingredient in many types of sushi, most notably being the California roll which is very popular in the United States and other Western locations.
Avocado is the perfect addition to sushi because it tastes wonderful when combined with the fish, rice, and other ingredients used in sushi. It has a nutty and complex texture that is not overpowering, but wonderfully complementary.
And, as a superfood, the avocado is also incredibly healthy. It is packed with vitamins, phytonutrients, and big dose of cholesterol busting monounsaturated fat.
So, not only is avocado sushi incredibly tasty (in my humble opinion), it is also beneficial to your health. If you have been convinced, I recommend you celebrate by enjoying a California roll with avocado for lunch tomorrow.
